Health Nutrition is like your body’s fuel. When you consume enough nutrition, which will be converted into energy via the amazing digestion system, you will have enough energy to move, to talk, to think, to basically operate as a normal human being. This, of course, leads us to the act of finding a good and constant supply of nutritious food. This also lead us to finding great eateries serving great, delicious delicacies at affordable prices – or at nearly unaffordable prices on certain occasions that you are ridiculously happy, drunk (or both), or having your third wedding.
You see, we human beings are cursed. We are cursed to be created with an organ called the ‘human tongue’. Because of the tongue, we can’t just eat any food. No, on the contrary, we become creatures who are picky with our food. And actually, we should, you know, be picky about our food. That is, we should be picky about with food will provide the right kind of health nutrition, and at what amount. The problem is that while our senses of taste leads us constantly towards foods that are delicious, delicious foods don’t always provide the right sort of nutrition.
This is why even though we know that eating 12 Extra Large Big Macs a day is really not good for our body – oversupply of nutrition and calories will lead to all sorts of heart, liver, and kidney problems – some people do it because, well… because it tastes great! All right, so that doesn’t sound like what most of us would do, but think about: how many times have we shunned away from eating our veggies because it doesn’t taste good, when we know that veggies supply the best health nutrition around. When we do eventually get sick, we blame the air, the water, the neighborhood we live in when, in fact, it was our eating habits that got us our illness in the first place. Maybe it’s time for a change:
Know your food: what sort of food is healthy, what sort of food supplies health nutrition. (I’d personally go for delicious health food),
Know that you DO have to eat veggies from time to time, and,
Know that it’s sometimes better to cook your own food – better control over what you put in your mouth, AND how they taste
