I’m a healthy eater and cook. I have been trying to remove wheat and gluten from my diet. I found this book to be a great introduction to changing my cooking and eating habits. I find the recipes to be easy and tasty, but what I like the most is that the book has shown me ways to substitute certain ingredients in my everyday cooking. I recommend this book for anyone who is looking for simple ways to a healthier diet.

There are many good topics covered in this book on being Gluten Free. I like that it is not just about breads. The down side for me was that I have to modify most everything because it has dairy in it. I don’t consider dairy to be health. I would buy it again just for some of the topics that where covered.

I read this cookbook. Who reads a cookbook? Great information and delicious food. I learned more about health and how to make some tasty recipes. Get this book if you want to be healthy, make excellent dinners and be more knowledgeable about what is BEST for your body.

The book provides clear, easy instructions on how to “detox” your pantry as well as your body. Pillow and Roberts provide strong evidence that following this lifestyle will result in a healthier you. The recipes are written in a way that a novice in the kitchen can follow them, but the flavors are bold enough for even the most sophisticated palate.
The authors provide all of the tools you need to start eating healthy today…science in an easy to understand format, sample menus, and recipes you and your family will love. Like most men, my husband is a huge fan of meat, but veggies…not so much. He is now happy with Spinach and Goat Cheese Pie for dinner…meatless! I make the Rich Chocolate Mousse recipe for guests all of the time, and when I tell them it is made without the heavy cream of traditional mousse but with much healthier tofu instead, they are astounded because it tastes so rich.
I am a huge fan of Pillow and Roberts and their Food Philosopher website. I am so glad they have written this book. I hope it leads many people to live a healthier lifestyle as it did my husband and I.
